ONYA shows you clothes on a model built from your own photos. That only works if you trust us with those photos — so this page says plainly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.
| Account | Email address and password (or Sign in with Apple), and an optional name and username. If we ask your age, we store only a range — never a birthdate. |
| Your photos | Six photos (three of your face, three full-body) to build your model. These are temporary — see below. |
| Body details | Height, body type, and chest size if you provide them, plus the AI's written description of your build and coloring. These exist to make your try-ons fit like you. |
| Your activity | The items you try on, save, and share: product names, brands, prices, store links, and the images generated for you. |
| Usage | Our own first-party event log (which features you use, which product you tried). Like many other websites, we may also gather information through cookies and similar technologies, and use standard analytics and advertising tools. |
The six photos you upload exist only to build your model. They are held in private storage while the build runs and are deleted automatically once your model is ready — regenerations afterwards work from your generated model, not your originals. If a build fails, the photos are kept only long enough to retry it. Photos you attach when adjusting your model are processed in memory and never stored.
We do not use your photos for facial recognition, identification, advertising, or to train any AI model. They are used once, to draw you.
The extension reads product details (name, price, image, sizes) directly on the page you're viewing so its button can work anywhere you shop. That reading happens entirely on your device. Nothing about a page — not its address, not its content — is sent to ONYA unless you click "Try it on" or use the right-click menu there. It does not read your browsing history, does not track you across sites, and requests no access to your tabs or web history.
When you do start a try-on, we receive what's needed to run it: the product's page address, name, brand, price, and image, plus any styling note you type. Signing in stores your session on your device so you stay signed in; signing out removes it.
ONYA's use and transfer of information received from the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you choose to buy an item, ONYA may use an affiliate link and earn a commission. That happens only when you click to buy — we never do anything in the background while you browse.
Like many other websites, we may gather information through cookies and similar technologies, and use standard analytics and advertising tools. Your photos and your model are never part of that.
Otherwise we keep your data for as long as your account is active, so your looks and saved items are there when you come back.
All traffic is encrypted in transit. Your model images live in private storage behind expiring signed links; sign-in uses token-based authentication handled by Supabase. Access to operational data is restricted to the operator and protected by a secret key. No system is perfect, but the sensitive things — your photos, your model — get the most protection we have.
ONYA is for adults. It isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly hold data about anyone under 18 — if that's happened, contact us and we'll delete it.
If ONYA is ever part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets — or negotiations toward one — your information may be transferred as part of that. If it happens, we'll provide notice to the extent applicable before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy, and get your consent where the law requires it.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and note the new date at the top. We won't quietly weaken what's promised here.
